Ryan Dorrell, CEO & Founder

Ryan Dorrell is the CEO and Founder of Fan Data Insights, leading the organization and product vision. 

​

Dorrell’s early career was spent building software systems for a variety of types of organizations, from Big 4 accounting firms to healthcare organizations to university-focused research consortiums.  In 2004, Dorrell co-founded AgileThought, a multi-disciplinary software development consulting firm that specialized in delivering enterprise-grade software systems using an agile methodology.  In his role as CTO, he set the technology direction and standards for the firm and was responsible for technical excellence across all teams.  In addition, he created and led the firm’s management consulting practice focused on helping organizations adopt an agile culture and agile technical practices.  As the firm evolved, he transitioned to the role of Chief Solutions Officer, where he led the firm’s go-to-market strategy.  In 2019, AgileThought was acquired by AN Global, and Dorrell took the role of Managing Director of Innovation.  AgileThought is now listed on the NASDAQ under the ticker AGIL.

Across his 25+ years working in the technology industry, Dorrell has been involved in a variety of industry-focused organizations, primarily those that are passionate about helping others learn and become better professionals.  In 2014, he co-founded Agile Open Florida, the only Open Space event in Florida dedicated to agile delivery methods.  This publicly held annual conference has grown to attract over 300 professionals every year.  He also co-founded the professional group Tampa Bay Agile, serving hundreds of IT professionals in the Tampa Bay area.  He currently serves as the chair of the advisory board for the Business Analytics, Information Systems, and Supply Chain department of the Florida State University College of Business.  He has also peer reviewed several popular software development books, and served on the original customer council for Microsoft’s Azure DevOps platform.

In 2012, he was named a “40 under 40” by Gulf Coast Business Review.  In 2014, he was named “CIO of the Year”, by the Tampa Bay Technology Forum, the premier industry group in the Tampa Bay area, with hundreds of member companies. 

​

Dorrell earned a BA in Management Information Systems degree from Florida State University in 1995.  He holds a specialization in Executive Data Science from Johns Hopkins University.

In addition to his direct involvement in starting AgileThought, he has advised several other startups, actively invested, and served on advisory boards. 

Julie Eichenberg, Chief Revenue Officer

Julie Dunn Eichenberg is Chief Revenue Officer of Fan Data Insights where she leads the sales and business development efforts.  

​

Eichenberg spent 22 years with Turner Broadcasting (now Warner Bros. Discovery) in a variety of sales and marketing roles managing multi-million dollar accounts in the U.S. and Canada.  During that time, the industry went through a technological transformation which included the proliferation of access to premium content and the need to continuously improve the marketing strategy and partnership model with distributors.  Eichenberg was responsible for growing revenue, marketing and product opportunities among Turner’s distribution partners, as well as expanding linear and on demand content distribution opportunities between Turner and its domestic MVPD partners. She also played an instrumental role during negotiations for affiliate contract renewals.

 

Throughout her career, Julie has been committed to supporting other women advance and thrive professionally and personally.  She is a dedicated mentor, committed to establishing partnerships that improve diversity & inclusion, especially among senior-level women.  She was also an active member of Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) and was a member of Class XXVIIII of WICT’s prestigious Betsy Magness Leadership program as well as a 2008 graduate of Cable Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School. She looks forward to leveraging her experience and network to create opportunities for women in this new technology space.

Julie has utilized her extensive sales skills to fundraise for causes close to her heart.  She served as the Chair of the FSU Foundation Board of Trustees as they completed their historic Raise the Torch campaign that raised over $1B. She also served as Chair of the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation, and is currently serving as the Chair of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Georgia Chapter and a member of the National Leadership Council. For her work with the CF Foundation, Eichenberg has been recognized with the Momentum Award and the Heart of Gold Award for record-breaking fundraising.

Most recently, Julie parlayed her passion for FSU and her extensive sales and fundraising experience into her role as the Southeast Director of Development for Florida State University.

​

Eichenberg earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and her MBA with a specialization in Business Analytics from Florida State University.  In 2017, Eichenberg was inducted into Florida State’s prestigious Circle of Gold and in 2018 and she was awarded the Inspire Award for Women of Distinction by the Florida State Alumni Association and the Women for FSU.  Also in 2018, Julie was honored to serve as a Commencement Speaker at the FSU Spring Commencement.
