Fan Data Insights was created to solve a problem: how do we better understand our donors and fans to improve our fundraising and ticket sales efforts? With numerous sources of data living across multiple, disconnected silos , how do we make sense of it all?
In the fall of 2020, in the middle of the COVID-ravaged college football season, collegiate athletics programs had taken a major revenue hit with limited fan attendance and ticket sales. Fundraising for the annual fund and capital projects were at a standstill. Programs were challenged with a core question: how do we rebuild?
In collaboration with athletic department executives and development officers at a top-tier, Power 5 university, the concept for Fan Data Insights was shaped, enhanced, and refined during this transformational time. Within weeks of creating this platform, we knew we had the right formula for success and set on a mission to commercialize the product. Deep collaboration with our customers is at the heart of our company, and is the foundation of our core mission: to enhance the business of college athletics to improve the performance and experience of student athletes.
A ‘single pane of glass’ is a term used to define a tool that unifies data across several different sources and presents them in a single view. The Fan Data Insights platform is that single pane of glass.
